A torque module is a mechatronic unit for the precise recording and control of turning torques in assembly and production processes. The universal torque modules from PROMESS consist of an AC servomotor with an integrated, overload-protected torque transducer. They combine NC-controlled rotary motion with the monitoring of torque-rotation angle curves. The units are used to precisely control angular positions, accurately apply load torques and easily record and monitor process data. The systems can be networked via all common bus systems.
