The UDM5 universal torque modules are an integrated solution consisting of a drive and precise torque measurement for testing, adjusting, and measuring. The systems allow you to control angular positions precisely and apply load torques accurately. In medical technology, they can be used for rotary function tests, for example.
Seven sizes are available for torque ranges from 1.5 to 200 Nm. The intelligent measuring design is completely decoupled from the rotational movement of the output shaft and is therefore much more resistant to interference, e.g. from external shaft loads. The result is high measuring accuracy for torque and angle. Encoders with absolute position feedback are used for position measurement. This reduces the effort required to align tools using external sensors and reduces commissioning time.

For machining small to medium series, or for testing and inspecting materials for tensile and compressive strength, we offer customized, turnkey manual workstations equipped with our Precision5 universal assembly presses. The workstations offer maximum precision and all the advantages of state-of-the-art NC technology. They allow you to move to positions accurately, apply forces precisely, and monitor and evaluate the process in real time. The compact stations follow the plug & play principle. You can set up your workstation, connect it, and start operating immediately. All electrical components, including the real-time NC control, are integrated into the press stand, enabling a space-saving design.

For applications in medical technology that require a controlled and low-particle working environment, as well as low forces and maximum precision, we offer a cleanroom press with certified particle cleanroom class ISO 4 according to DIN EN ISO 14644. The system and its components are easy to clean and all components used are made of FDA-approved materials or have an FDA-approved coating.
